Re: You've got a long day of gaming ahead of you...
Heh. You mean "real food"? I often don't do that while gaming on the PS3. Chips, soda, usually small bite-size candy... (Man, if I were 10 years old my mother would kill me! ;)) If I need real food, it's usually downstairs and something simple: PB&J, nuked hotdogs, PopTarts, etc. I ac...

MT on ipad?
DOes anyone know if ipads can load/run programs (specifically MT, of course). The website says it can do all sorts of stuff, but wasn't specific about running programs.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
Those of you mourning the loss of the combat damage calculator can take some comfort from the hope that SJG may yet approve the full framework for sale on e23. I'll let you all know about this as soon as the negotiations are finished. Wow! That is terrific news. I would have bet against it, but sur...

Re: windows 7 not working
Works (mostly) OK on my Win7 64bit machine (b.66)
I am having all the subpanels come up blank when the program starts for some reason (completely grayed out, not even the borders are rendered) but I can sort of blindly click and drag them and then they appear, so it works.

General theory question...
Assuming a token's macros are effective anywhere on the map (or can be determined to be ineffectve at a specific location at the time of activation) why is there any processing at all involved in moving a token's macros? Are they not constant properties?

Re: Windows, an idea for 1.4
Could 1.4 provide us the ability to have more than one map open at a time? I'm thinking for starters, like IE and tabs. This would allow you to show windows to other maps via client rendering. And could also allow people to control a pet/familiar/retainer as well as their own token on different map...

Re: [experimental] Timer macro
On the local remote time issue... doe it really matter? most of the function we would be writing are looking at DURATION vice proper time. So long as the reference for the start and end times come from the same location the subtraction should be the same no matter what. Am I missing something? are w...

OHHH... a countdown timer to act that, when it expires, has your PC do nothing that turn and send initiative on to the next player.... cool!

Re: Windows, an idea for 1.4
--snip-- One addition would to be to give it vision property, so that you could define what it could see (an arc for camera angle, and if the camera was low light capable etc), with full FOW outside of that area. Also an ability to add a % of noise would be nice, so that players don't necessarily h...

Re: Chat language toggles
THank You I was hoping someone might think the funciton worth coding into 1.4 as an option (default being that all tokens speak 'common' all the time) The GM should be able to see everything that is written. Is it possible to have colored/italicized textdisplayed to the GM based on the language bein...

Chat language toggles
I was wondering about the feasibility of a function: Whenever anyone chats they can only be speaking in one language at a time (normally their default language). To emulate cross linguistic roleplay would it be possible to have 'language filters' that are toggled in each token? What I envision is th...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
I've heard a rumor that LT will include something like the edge protection rules. Can't wait for that to come out. The easiest way I can think of to fill out the forms is to have the first value entered auto-populate the rest of the field, then go in and overwite the things that need to be changed. ...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
Just a thought for future development: Please consider using multiple armor values so we can model their effectivness against different weapon/damage types e.g. mail has different values vs. imp than cut. I suppose it would be cumbersome but an array of each armor's effectivness against cr, cut, imp...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
If I believed in prayer I'd hope that Trevor and SJ can meet for coffee, decide they really like each other and have Trevor be hired as a SJG consultant (or some such) to write MT for GURPS. SInce the RP system will let you model anything, there isn't much lost by having MT be GURPS preferenced and ...
