We had our game Sunday and I successfully connected the two laptops via ad hoc wireless network. I had to set up static IP's for the machines but other than that the game ran flawlessly and since I was using my new laptop for the server OMG what a performance leap, even over wireless! I am still usi...

I did more research and I think there is something I have to install on the XP machine to make the protocols match. Link-Level Protocol something-or-other. Its something new Microsux came up with I will po...

Question; How whould I...

I have an upcoming scenario where the adventurers are in the ruins of an ancient Elvish fortress. They happen upon a large room, and except for rubble, and detritus, they see nothing unusual. But then (due to prearranged circumstances), they see a ghostly apparition of what this room once was, an In...

Image Explorer Question

Is there a limit to the number of items that should be in the path of the Image explorer? I have several folders with numerous PNG's in them and not all of them will display. If an item I want is farther down the list than will be displayed, I have to renumber it to appear in the Image Explorer Is t...

To my knowledge if I place all the assets on the exact same paths, ...

Its a network in its most rudimentary form, a crossover cable. What perplexes me is that the network seemed to function just fine here at home with the sample maps and one map I was toying around with. I really dont understand it either. But thats a tech issue I have to resolve here and not a MT iss...

Today was the first time I used MT at our game session. First the Issues- I could not get MT to run over my peer to peer two laptop network using my (large) maps. I have a feeling it is not a problem with MT as much as it is the slow cons, or rather the lack of processing power of my second laptop. ...
