Re: cna yuo raed tihs?

For example, one of my favorite words is sesquipedalophobia. But if the letters were jumbled would you recognize it? I doubt I would. LOL the irony. A very long word that means fear of very long words. But anyhow yea it is assumed that you know the words in question. Just like if you were to take f...

Re: cna yuo raed tihs?

In particular, why 45% have difficulty reading it. I don't know. I found it posted on another web site. I had in my notes file which I have a lot of misc info in. I was clearing it out when I came across it again and figured I'd post here. It's weird though if only 55% of people can read it then I ...

Macro Timer/Debug Mode

I was wondering if it would be possible to make some kinda of option for showing how long it takes to run a macro? With the massive advancements in macro complexity that are showing up sometimes they can run kinda slow. Well if we had an option to turn on a timer which showed the execution time of t...

Re: "Combat Manager" for 4th Edition D&D

Campaign File Here: http://www.houseofgenius.com/files/mtfw/combat_manager_v3.cmpgn I am new to MapTools and I aparently don't understand some aspect of how things work. The link to your .cmpgn file actually downloads a .zip file but the .zip file does not contain a .cmpgn file it has two xml files...

Re: Json Insert

EDIT: Okay, here's a "safe for all" version. If the index is equal to or longer than the length, it will act like json.append, allowing you to safely use it with dynamically generated indexes. It's that how coding always seems to go? You wanna do something simple so you make something qui...

Re: Json Insert

This can be accomplished much more efficiently (i.e. without looping twice ). onCampaignLoad [ defineFunction( "json.insert", "json.[email protected]", 1, 1 ) ]  json.insert // Assign parameters[ Array = arg( 0 ) ][ Index = arg( 1 ) ][ Value = arg( 2 ) ]//  Split array at index[ Length = json.length( Arr...

Re: Json Insert

zEal has the advantage of doing a LOT of the wiki; it's a thoroughly unfair advantage because he can lay down "that's cool, but you can just use json.DoWhatIMean()." LOL. Well after he suggested it I went right to the wiki and sure enough it's there in the syntax part of the info on json....

Re: Json Insert

Cool. I didn't know you could use json.get like that to get whole segments. ;)

I've only been able to dabble a bit in the newer functions. So some of my logic is still stuck in the limitations of the old macro system. I need more free time to really sit down and play with all the new functions.

Json Insert

Since a lot of people use Json Arrays in their tokens now I figure this might be useful. It of course only works on Json Arrays much in the same way listInsert() works. The first argument is the Json Array you are adding to, followed by the position to insert the item (remember 0 is first spot), and...

Re: 4e interactive sheet & utilities

You know a json.insert() function would be nice then we wouldn't have to use the list as an intermediate. In fact you know why wait? [H:OriginalJson = arg(0)] [H:InsertPosition = arg(1)] [H:InsertValue = arg(2)] [H: NewJson = json.append(OriginalJson, InsertValue)] [H: JsonLength = json.length(NewJ...

Re: 4e interactive sheet & utilities

4. Thought of one more. Is there a better way to organize powers and items by moving them up and down? I sometimes edit the power properties themselves but worry that I may corrupt something. Items can only really be reordered by moving them to the bottom of the list. JSONs are a bit hard for me to...

Re: Veggiesama's Framework (D&D 4e)

Just out of curiousity : When was the last time Veggie visited his own thread? Seems like the framework has taken on a life of it's own and wonder how he feels about the changes/editions? We won't know until he comes back . It's been almost two weeks since he has logged in. Though he's not the firs...
