Re: Mote Kickstarter: We are going LIVE!
I think getting MapTool to run out of the box is one of the biggest turn offs for most new users. Making it a single file will go a long way toward MapTool appreciation. It's one of the biggest things that keeps me from recommending it to non-computer savvy people. I honestly think its also publici...

Re: MapTool 1.4.0.0 Build
hopefully this will mean faster and better updates. but correct my misconception if it is so, doesnt java 8 supplant 6 completely? to the point that they will not correctly install on the same pc?if j8 has issues and this requires it, is there any fix for having them work in parallel (but obviously ...

The file is now fixed.
I thankyou all for your efforts to aid me. this was very productive and I never imagined it would be possible.

Re: Could Not Load campaign, Java Util Zip ZipExtraction
I am using b91 since it's the most recent and stable version of MT. I wouldn't try to manually replace those files since they are encoded and if they're not loading then you don't know which file they are. Plus, that would be beyond a major pain even if you did know. It's much easier to replace the...

Re: Could Not Load campaign, Java Util Zip ZipExtraction
hmm? this link you gave locks up around 140 and 150 for each map on cache (as opposed to the first number of files) did that happen for you? i got it to load somehow, now theres a bunch of xs, presumably because the assets involved are fracked up. is there a way to replace the assets with a restored...

Re: CSS without using Lib:token or Inline Style - My solutio
Well, using css style in the chat was already answered, if that was your question. Rewording, doesn't change that fact. ironically you are completely wrong, rewording things does change what they mean This only works in dialog and frame roll options and not in the chat window. this is not a complet...

Re: CSS without using Lib:token or Inline Style - My solutio
Then you mean "no, you can't", starting off with a "yes, but really no" isn't necessary, you can't use CSS for output into the chat.

Re: CSS without using Lib:token or Inline Style - My solutio
if this only works for objects like frames, is there a way to use it without a lib token for output as well? I'm trying to work on a system of macros that will build themselves and then execute the code, and output the results, mainly skill checks and the like. while I'm used to in line, the idea of...

Re: Mote Kickstarter: We are going LIVE!
I would be very surprised if the IRC example as presented above will be the end product. There are so many frameworks that use highly formatted output to the chat window that I do not see how Lee (and the other devs) would not have an option for it on the roadmap. sometimes people change things bec...

Re: how does one line up stubborn background objects
When dropping tiles on the object or background layer is uses the original size of image. If the image size isn't square then you're have rotation issues. If the size isn't evenly divisible by your grid size then they won't match up by default. You can unsnap and then line up manually. One option w...

how does one line up stubborn background objects
this one has been on my hitlist and I've made no progress in finding out why maptools decides to go hare brained at times and deny me the ability to line up tiles. instead of being aligned on an invisible grid, it seems to line things up for some background objects even though they are the same dime...
