I wasnt planning a full out, method by method exam. I was going for top level overviews. for instance, this is what I wrote for getInfoFunction.java /** * Macro function to provide information, based on based on type (map, client, * server or campaign) as a JSON Object. * <br><br> * Map information ...

Re: Future of MapTool?
So, something like a javadoc for IsTrustedFunction.java would look like:
Checks the GM and editable property values of a macro to confirm that the passed function object is trusted. If so allows additional parameters to be used by the named function
Is that the sort of thing you're talking about?

Re: Future of MapTool?
What exactly would you be looking for as far as documentation? I wouldn't wish the task of documentation on my worst enemy. So I won't answer this question ;) Well, will you tell me if what i said i think i can do, is in the realm of what you'd like to see? Lets be honest here Jagged, i've poked ar...

Re: Future of MapTool?
What exactly would you be looking for as far as documentation? if it's things like a JavaDoc comment in ChatFunction.java that it's called by such and such, and maybe a brief synopsis of what it does, I think with a little direction, i can manage to do that (until get bored/frustrated), i think i co...

Re: Future of MapTool?
My weigh-in on this is that a guide must be made after the guide on setting up eclipse, checking out the svn etc. Specifically, it should detail the pertinent architecture of MT (i.e. what are the different sections of the code and what do they do) Understandably, it's a lot of work initially but I...

Re: setCurrentMap() switches to hidden map for players
I think it needs to be callable in any situation but it should only move to a hidden map if called as a trusted macro. Which might be difficult to code ;) Well, im hoping not too difficult, if i can take one thing offa Az's plate, im happy! Anywheres, here's where I'm ad @Override public Object chi...

Re: Future of MapTool?
On the Wiki vs forum post thought: Forum posts are generally long, and generally "not organized", at least, not to the degree that a wiki can be. The question then is, can a wiki be organized well enough that it's beneficial over a forum post, while not "cluttering" the wiki, esp...

Re: How to make a presentation?
Well, you could post a playtest/demo in the looking for group thread, to let people know what you're doing and what you're looking for.
but is there an actual warcraft RPG? Did you create something based on WoW itself?
