[patch] Start browser
http://forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20682 describes a lack of browser support on *nix. The attached patch makes use of java.awt.Desktop.browse(). For systems without Desktop API support the BROWSER environment variable is used to determine the browser. Because MapTool requires Java6, ...

[patch] Color selection changes
+For Gray colors, use Gray{25,50,75} instead of {Light,Dark,}Gray http://forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=20068&p=214965#p214965 Some posts earlier it was mentioned that halo colors were different. The reason for the latter is that the token popup menu uses its own list of colors inst...

MapTool development
I'd like to contribute some work to MapTool. I've got the repository checked out and got MapTool to run from Eclipse. Now, I'm a little bit at a loss where to start. I would prefer seeing 1.4 underway but until that commences I could just tackle some of the issues at hand. However, since you don't s...

I have only recently (which means two weeks ago) found out about MapTool while looking for some kind of "interactive battle map" for my F2F group. In other words, I was looking for MapTool before I even knew it existed It has since, made its successful debut in our last session.
