Re: [Map Bits] Infinity Dungeon Tileset by VertWrangler

Re: Mote Kickstarter: We are going LIVE!
I had the same discouragement a few Mote betas ago, when my "legacy" frameworks quit working and would have required massive editing (and losing Maptool compatibility) to work again. Then a couple betas later the Mote dev. team corrected some of the API changes to make it more backward com...

Re: Mote Kickstarter: We are going LIVE!
The MapTool staff reached out but Mote decided to go a different route. The people that are in control of Mote are not the same that were doing so at the beginning of the project. Maybe it would be beneficial for everyone involved to join strength. If the RPTools dev team kept working on the free M...

Re: Mote Kickstarter: We are going LIVE!
@KaylaKaze: could you avoid posting several messages in a row, and instead edit your previous message to add whatever extra stuff you have to say? That's just good forum practice, and this way we don't all get notified every time you add something. Thanks.

Re: Mote Kickstarter: We are going LIVE!
I agree with Wolph42, there are definitely some pretty impressive improvements under the hood with Mote 1.0. I addition to what he mentioned, I can think of: -- FOW is refreshed when you change a token's facing -- Tokens to not have to be snapped to grid for FOW to refresh on movement -- full Unicod...

Re: Problem with encode(), forms and umlauten
Is this something I can modify in the launcher in 1.3b91 or b90? I don't see a specific setting there. Or do I have to modify the mt.cfg file? Likewise, while writing in .net and opening the file stream, I can chose an encoding method, is there one I should specify? With the b91 launcher opened (ha...

[Tutorial] Playing sound and music directly thru Teamspeak
This is not directly releated to Maptool, but this tutorial could be very useful to online GMs who use Teampseak. The video tutorial on Youtube is HERE The purpose of this tutorial is to show GMs how to configure your computer and Teamspeak so that they can play music and sound effects directly into...

Yes it is still in closed beta, although I believe they are getting very close to switching to open beta. Compatibility with MTscript code has improved greatly.

Re: Question about token targeting in a form
Great suggestinons guys, thanks a lot!
I'll have to play around with the secondary window a bit, but that's definitely the way to go.

Re: Question about token targeting in a form
That's what I thought too (I've never seen a FW that worked around the issue so far), but I wanted to see what the Maptool pros thought about it before even trying ;). I think I'll try a two frame() system for the attack, one with just the targeting part (and therefore using onChangeSelection, the o...

Question about token targeting in a form
Using the onChangeSelection "trick," I created an attack routine in which a player can then select a token on the map and use it as a target for the attack. the Frame also includes a bunch of parameters and choices the player can use (see screenshot). When the target is selected, the frame...
