Re: Question: Extracting Image From Campaign File
The campaign file is a zip file. Change the file extension to .zip and you can open it with any program that can handle zip files, like 7zip. Inside the archive there's a folder called "assets." In it you'll find all the artwork files, mostly .pngs. The file names are not informative, but ...

Re: Can't get into token tool
Are you using Windows? Does it appear in the task bar on the bottom of the screen?
If yes to both, right click on the task bar and select "Cascade Windows." That should line up all open windows on the main screen.

Re: bug or something odd
In the interest of actually having half a clue, I threw together a quick macro to roll millions (total of 6,000,000) of d20 rolls and track the results. All 20 possible results are within two one hundredths of one percent of what theory predicts: Result Number Percent 1 299044 4.98% 2 300497 5.01% 3...

Re: bug or something odd
Are they actually rolling 4 times in a row OR getting the same roll 4 rounds in a row after perhaps dozens of rolls have happened in between their rolls? It doesn't actually make a difference if the psuedo-random number generator is working right (and all evidence that I've seen says it is). The ch...

I can't duplicate the problem with any obvious approach, so perhaps more details are in order.

Re: Help me understand how MT uses HD space.
If you're on Windows, pull up the start menu and type in "Disk Cleanup." That should let you open an app that will safely delete temporary files that Windows create a *lot* of. Once it's open (this can take a while), you should see an option to "Clean up system files" (this will ...

The appeal is that it gets a lot more traffic than the forums do these days.

Re: Nice to meet you ...
Your best bet on that is to sign up to the Discord channel for MapTool. (In general, there's a lot more activity there these days, and certainly so among the devs.)

Re: DriveThru RPG?
There are settings for newsletters and how publishers can contact you directly under Account-->Notifications. If those are what's not working, I'd submit a ticket (under Contact Us at the bottom of every page). If it's unsubscribe links in the emails, I'd submit a ticket on that, too. Both should wo...

Re: DriveThru RPG?
Interesting. I've dealt with them for many years, and do not recall ever getting a single email from that that wasn't either an order confirmation or a response to a trouble ticket.

Re: Recurse limit hit while finding token
I have no idea what happens when you name a UDF with an actual built-in function name, but it seems like that might not be the best idea.

That particular feature is a bit obscure. It's bitten quite a few people.

Re: Select token macro doesn't fully select the token
Is there a reason you want to do this with a macro instead of with the map explorer, where you can double-click on a token you own to select it and center the map on it?

Re: RPTools.net connection for IPv6 only networks
If their router is blocking incoming connections, your only other alternative is some variety of VPN, like Hamachi or ZeroTier (both of which are used successfully on a regular basis). (Or, in theory, running the server on something like the Amazon cloud, which has been done, but it's pretty demandi...
