Despite the destruction of the tower, whatever wild magic the shaman unleashed through his sacrifices keeps the peak green all year round even in winter when it was once snow-capped. The tower was destroyed in a war against the shaman many years ago after his foul creations terrorized the countryside and my ancestors rose up in unison against him.
