Why isn't there a web start for b87? Its fairly stable and widely used.
I took a b84, I think, and edited it to launch b87, I have b87 already installed on my machine (this is for a friend who is having stack problems) when I try to run it, it starts downloading stuff and I am unsure why.

b87 Web Launch/Start

Re: b87 Web Launch/Start
Mostly because of some bugs that popup depending on the flavor of Java you have installed.
I could have made b89 a release version, but I wanted that to be b90 so I've been putting it off.
I've had some trials and tribulations with b90 (more about that when I post the announcement) but I should have it out tonight if I get enough time to work on it. (Issues with OSX, with SourceForge, and then a couple of tough-to-find bugs to fix.)

Re: b87 Web Launch/Start
I understand that, I did get a chance to try my edited version of the b84 web start. It started to launch the program but didn't finish and gave an error. I didn't post it since the website was down at the time and I just got to sit down for tonight.
