Accursed Tower

Post by hennebeck »

Feature enhancement for b42 please, bigger initiative announcement.

Yesterday's session went real well with b41.
initiative window did something wonky at some point. ( I wasn't the DM so I'm not sure what it was)
We removed all and rerolled Initiative and it was fine.

But something we noticed is that the announcemnet for who has initiative is a bit small.
Is it possible to make that user definable? Maybe a window in the Campaign Properties where what ever and however you type it, that's how it will display?
Like the idea someone had for the portrait as well.
Defaulting to what is already there if nothing is entered by a user?

Yea, I would not mind seeing this be something templatey like in the properties, and let the GM define how the output should look. I "THINK" someone else already mentioned this somewhere before also, but something like:

Code: Select all

<b>token.name has received the initiative.</b>
You could even have one for players (above) and one for the GM characters:

Code: Select all

<b>Someone else has received the initiative.</b>
I save all my Campaign Files to DropBox. Not only can I access a campaign file from pretty much any OS that will run Maptool(Win,OSX, linux), but each file is versioned, so if something goes crazy wild, I can always roll back to a previous version of the same file.

Get your Dropbox 2GB via my referral link, and as a bonus, I get an extra 250 MB of space. Even if you don't don't use my link, I still enthusiastically recommend Dropbox..

Someone mentioned doing this for the photos.
So you could make them bigger or what not.

@ Trevor,
Another problem we had was that one of our players had logged in with a name "Real Name - Character Name"
And you couldn't /w to them. It worked with anyone with a single name,
/w hennebeck
/w Sepp
/w Plissken

But it didn't work for
/w Real Name - Character Name

We tried quotes, brackets, single name, nothing worked.
