Init tool has already started some of this functionality. In the last release I added support for a combatant lookup file that is just an XML file containing all of the properties for a set of monsters. Init tool also has a generic 'index card' type character sheet to display and edit the properties. I plan to make the index card pluggable so that somebody could use Abeille form designer to create a game specific display. When we start integrating the tools I'll be able to send this data to map tool so it can be displayed there as well.

This type of pluggable display and property set is how we had planned to start character tool. Add scripting support to it and then game specific support can be added to the sheet.

This was the first page I found when I began looking for online tools which eventually lead me here. So in a way you can blame this guy for me being here. :-)

When I generated a sample combatant lookup file for init tool I used this data. It is split up fairly well for creating XML files from the SRD monsters.

As in adding code to support a different kind of rolling ? If so you might invite them to send it in as a patch so that everybody can use it :)

You should have the ability to do Ctrl-C, -X, -V in the chat window currently along with mouse highlighting. Is that not working for you?

I'm using the newest zip of B9. Where should I be looking?

I believe the current version is b10 but it was there in b9 as well.

From the View menu choose "Show as Index Cards".

Especially cool if you have tokens associated with a combatant.

Found the B10 thread and responded over there. Ws hoping to open an existing encounter file but it won't load the B9 file. :(

Well Frank I didn't know there was a b11 either.

Didn't see an announcement on it. Wonder what is different.

I've had no luck webstarting. Always sits forever at "Checking for latest version" whatever the wording is. Even after turning off my firewall. Though I haven't tried with InitTool, only Maptool.
