[h: getname()]
returns
Function "setName" requires at least 1 parameters; 0 were provided
[h: getname("Test")]
returns no message but sets current token's name to Test
[1.4.1.7] [1.4.1.8] getName() calling setName()

Try using Wiki: getName() which gives you the correct output. getname may either something deprecated or java related, hence the confusing error message.

Function names are one of the few places in MT where CASE matters. So make sure you capitalize the "N" in getName().bocotainin wrote:Tried on both versions, different computers.

At any rate, you did find a bug. (Confirmed in 1.4.0.2 as well.)
