with a brief but hopefully helpful description of the process of resizing a map with built-in gridlines so that the grid in MapTool will line up properly.
As discussed in http://forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php?t=684 there are frequently scanned or otherwise imperfect maps with non-integer square sizes. MapTool's grid is currently only integer sizes, so if your map is 39.5 pixels per square, we're going to be off 1 pixel per 2 squares at best.
So pull the map image into an image manipulation tool and follow the directions to adjust the image size.
Under that doc area there is no mention for adding Hex maps. I think it would be important to remind people that if you want a hex map you need to add a map using the menu selections and not the quick keys.

Actually, it might be nice if hitting "+" a second time put you back to the zoom level you were at previously! That should be easy to do and easy to use!
