...or a way to have MT maintain memory of custom frame positions.
Players and GM's can position all the integral frames they use and MT will remember where they are and how they are set up. But they can't do it with Character Sheets (which is something many frameworks have). It's inconvenient to have to pop, size, and place sheets every time and it would be nice if it at least remembered the size and placement.

Re: FREQ : Character Sheet Window
Agreed.
Maptool used to remember the positioning of custom frames. Not entirely sure when that changed.

Re: FREQ : Character Sheet Window
It changed when the frames would open at 0,0 and the header bar would be unreachable so the frame couldn't be moved without special knowledge or an app. So, the solution was to reset all the frames and center at start up. It wasn't a good solution, but it resolved the current problem.

Re: FREQ : Character Sheet Window
So, out of curiosity, is this a difficult request?
It seems like it would be easy to add an empty static window/frame option called "Character Sheet" that would follow all the rules of other static windows (i.e. remember position be dock/tabable, etc.) and be easily populated with macros as a people currently do with Character Sheets.

Hoped it might be one of those low effort/high return mods in a sea of some pretty ambitious features that I think are planned.
