Simple one here.
Most people turn off the "new token dialog" because it gets tedious with numerous tokens. We set it to NPC and tick "don't show again."
However, this causes a problem.
When saving a Player token, the PC setting is saved along with it.
But when you drag that token back in, the PC setting is explicitly ignored and OVERRIDDEN by the "new token dialog default"
This is not expected nor desired behaviour.
When I save a token, I expect it's settings to be saved, and then reloaded, properly.
This is not reloading the token properly. A very significant setting is being silently ignored and overwritten.
This results in regular posts regarding Fog and auto-reveal, because it doesn't work with NPC tokens.
SOLUTION: Ignore the "new token" settings when loading a .rptok file. Plain and simple.
It's still valid and useful for dragging images on to become tokens, but it is not appropriate for existing token files.

This should be fixed in 1.3b60 (a submitted patch addresses this)
Dreaming of a 1.3 release
