Powers on 4e

Post by Rybot »

Is there no way to build powers for CT? There are a few Barbarian powers from the Primal Power book that I want to use that didn't seem to appear in the database.

Am I just blind, or are they not there?

Thanks in advance.

Building new powers involves work very close to "programming" :p It requires some serious configuring at the very least.

I made an attempt for Essentials books (See here) but stopped because I found it just too time consuming.

You can add new powers, but you have to do it by hand. I've been working off and on to have editors for the database tables, but they aren't even close to working. Look at the Adopters: *** sticky threads in the CT forum. The topic Adopters: Game Settings File talks about the game settings file in particular. The powers go into the power.rpdat database files in the 4e gane settings file.
