I'm trying to set up a hex crawl with the players being able to see one hex out. I'm having trouble getting vision to do this.
First off, using circular vision works the way I'd expect.
circle distance=5 scale
Hex does not work the way I'd expect. Why is it offset?
hex distance=5 scale
Grid just confuses the heck out of me. What's going on here?
grid distance=5 scale
Is there a way to do what I want? Expose only the adjacent hexes? Thanks
Hex and Grid vision weirdness.

Re: Hex and Grid vision weirdness.
Seems like a bug. Does your map have offsets? You can tell if you go to Map | Adjust Grid. If you have values in the offset.
I actually got an error when setting a light source to hex that breaks MT for me. I can no longer access the campaign properties.

Re: Hex and Grid vision weirdness.
Thank you for finding that bug report. I'll add to it. Thought there was something odd going on. Circle is close enough for now.
Also, I checked and there are not offsets.
