old Campaign new version

Hi i just updated to maptool 1.11.5 from 1.9.5 and when i tried to load my campaign i got this

Did you install over the old version? It is usually a good idea to uninstall first.

But make certain you haven't saved any campaign files or other stuff in the MapTool directory first.

MT takes great offense at this now.

So uninstall the whole shebang, restart, and then reinstall.

And like taustinoc indicates if you've ever saved anything in the MT install directory, remove it FIRST. And, further, don't save anything there again. Ever.

Frankly, it's actually a good idea to install new versions of MT in new/unique locations. During install you can just name the install folder to the name of the new version (i.e "Maptool 1.11.5"). You can have multiple versions of MT on your computer just as long as they are in different locations. Hopefully, in the future, MT will do this for people by default. This breakage caused by installing over old versions is a common issue now.

Lastly, if this doesn't fix the problem, you might want to visit the MT Discord channel for assistance.
