programming introductory course?

The RPTools applications are written in Java. If you're interested in contributing to any project here by submitting patches to the source code, this is the forum to ask questions about how to do so. programming introductory course?

i would like to get with some other CS/programmer guys in here and maybe set up a post a week intro to programming (language specific to java.) but i think if our community is heavy with programmers we might as well reach out and teach the ones who arnt. to build a stronger more supportive community.

ideas?
