Adding Resources to your Library

Post by Malekith »

Credits to Az for wording this, I'm just doing the leg work.
Azhrei wrote:Don't add to ~/.maptool/resource/Default -- it will be removed if you ever have to choose Help -> Restore Default Images.

Instead, create your own directory somewhere and use File -> Add to Resource Library... to add your directory to the list that MapTool monitors. Once you do that a new top-level directory will appear in the Asset Image tree (the top part of the Image Explorer) and you can navigate to your images.

You should then be able to add new images to the directory without a problem. If they don't show up immediately, navigate to a different location and then back again.
