Lunastus' Background Story

Post by DMonkey »

When the stars and moon disappeared 50 years ago, Lunastus’ father, Havittaminen was the first of his kind to give into the animalistic side of his being. Starting a revolt in the city of Magmordner and causing the death of many citizens. It was then that the Minotaur race had been divided into the four statuses. His mother, Kauneus, and her family were merged into the 2nd class, but Kauneus was unhappy and volunteered to move down to the 3rd class. There, she was a warrior charged with keeping the 4th class in line. Havittaminen, being the head of the 4th class, had many confrontations with Kauneus. Although all these events resulted in violence, the two eventually fell in love with each other. When Kauneus’ mother realised she was going to have a child from the revolt leader himself she became infuriated and banished her daughter to the 4th class, to live forever.
When Lunastus was a child, he struggled for acceptance among the lower class, because his mother had been a Warden. He often needed to resort to violence as a means of defence, needing to fight for just the basics of survival. When he became a teen ager, Lunastus’ father was killed in a grand battle where the 4th class had taken over an upper level of Magmordner.
As he stood over his father’s body listening as the mourning song resounded in the halls, Lunastus grasped his father’s axe in one hand and raised it above his head. He let out a mighty roar and, in that moment, entered adulthood. The air crackled with the rage being released by Lunastus’ mighty cry. In a blood rage, Lunastus lead his pears out of the city and into the world around.
The bloodshed which occurred that fateful day still haunts Lunastus. He has now sworn to right the wrong he had done. Every day is a struggle for Lunastus as he fights to remain in control of his great rage.

Hold on Tight
Hold on Forever
