Hello,
I have a small issue that I am trying to resolve regarding the initiative window.

At the beginning of combat, I draw a big box around all the combatants and click initiative in the framework. The initiative window populates, but my players cannot see all of the combatants. They can only see themselves. I would like them to be able to see everyone. There is a check box in one of the property windows that I believe is set correctly (cant remember the name offhand).

Is there any reason that the players cannot see all of the combatants or is this by design?

Click the arrow next to "Next".
In the Drop-down menu you'll see "Hide NPCs" checked.
Uncheck that.

Hi there,

I'm trying to set up a magical weapon and am unsure where/how to enter some features.
It's a "Lifedrinker weapon". It has three properties:
  • +1 to attack and damage rolls (This was easy. I set it in the Item Entry page.)
  • on critical hits it does +1d6 necrotic damage
I entered 1d6 in the basic Item Entry under "Crtitical Damage", but how do I mark it as 'necrotic'? Or do I have to create a power for this? And how would I set this up?
  • Whenever the wielder drops an enemy to 0 hit points with a melee attack made with this weapon, he gains 5 temporary hit points.
This should probably be the item's power. Any suggestions how to set this up?
Ideas and tips are very appreciated.

And another question (I just love this framework!).

I am fiddling with Wolph's Trap Macro (Bag of Tricks) and would like to pass the results of an attack roll with damage and a condition to the macro in this framework that handles the chat output when using an attack power.

Which macro do I need to look at?

The Magic Items are the least supported because they are the most variable.
You just have to put all those Properties in the properties section together.

This may have been talked about I'm still reading the 30 pages before this. I want to hide the Healthbar for NPC's. I'm using the arc'd bars that turn green>yellowgreen>yellow>Ect>ect I think the tutorial was shown earlier in this thread.

Thanks for any help.

Permanently, I'm not sure. But you can go in and choose that in the properties of a token.
Double click a token and then, I think it's about the third tab, the one with all the states. At the very bottom there is a check box to show the health bars.

You can also select all NPC token in a map, right click on this selection and in the menu choose:

->Bar->Full Health
check: Hide

This will hide the healthbars for all selected token.

First off let me say, darn SEXY FRAMEWORK!

I am running into the issue of updating tokens however (new tokens, no previous framework).

Error is:
Unknown JSON type "" in function "json.get".

Happens when the token is selected and either Complete Updater is used or Base Updater. Other updates if run separately work without issue.

Once again, this framework rocks, thanks for those that contributed and of course DeviantNull

My first thought is that the updater may be out-of-date.
I don't remember. I've been following this roject for years now, but I know I've had to rebuild my PCs at least once.
That "unknown jasn" error is too vague for me to help.
Hopefully, someone else will come along.

Its the latest version as far as I am aware (pulled from 1st page; 5-1) If there is a later version I would surely like to get my hands on it. Thanks for the response.

I'm saying I don't think the Updater works.
You just build the tokens in 5-1.

I am only using 5-1, so I guess my question is I don't use the updater unless I am coming from a previous framework? That just makes too much sense ;). I Feel silly to have even asked the question.
