Hello all,
I'm just about to start playing about with this but have an initial question on what to code in. I have been teaching myself javascript for a little while, I'm new to programming but know a reasonable amount of HTML and CSS. Am I better to stick with the original macro or to use JS since that is what I've been learning outside of this and I see maptools now supports it?
Is there an advantage of one over the other?
Thanks in advance.

Both probably. JS is likely used to make stuff pretty but MTscript is good for backend stuff.
