Troll

I problem with a few of the (RPG) boards I visit, is that a persons title can be Troll. Entirely in keeping with the source material, however when I look at a post started by someone titled as a "Troll" it does make me wonder...

Yeah, we should probably pick different tier titles. Okay all of you imaginative folks out there: let's hear your suggestions!

The current list follows; the number of posts is the minimum required to achieve that title:

1. 0 posts - Kobold
2. 25 posts - Troll
3. 100 posts - Giant
4. 250 posts - Dragon
5. 1000 posts - Great Wyrm
6. 2500 posts - Demigod
7. 5000 posts - Deity

Got no problem with any of them except Troll, really. Just change that to...hmm...Orc? Gnoll?, and we're good to go.

On the upside, Murgh, you're only 1 post away from being a Giant.

I think Orc or Goblin would fill in nicely... though an entirely new hierarchy with some more critters might be nice... though I'm too burnt out tonight to come up with much right now.

But the Giant class could certainly be spread out (Hill, Stone, Frost, Fire, Storm.)

Make Dragon like 1000....add some age groups in for them leading up to the Great Wyrm at 2500.

Demi-God at 5k.

Deity at 10k.

The only benefit of having Tier 2 be a Troll is that for most of us, it causes us to post like mad to reach Giant. I agree that it would be nice to change it. Orc, Goblin, Gnoll... any of these would be fine.

Of the options currently present... Orc seems to be my favorite.

Going through the SRD real quick some other options are: Basilisk, Doppleganger, Drider, Dryad, Formian, Gargoyle, Ghoul, Golem, Lamia, Lizardfolk, Lycanthrope, Medusa, Minotaur, Ogre, Pseudodragon... okay I think that's enough.

Upon review of list... Ogre and Golem seem to be my favorites. Pseudodragon is a close runner-up and I'd like to see it on the last somewhere just for personal amusement. :)

Yeah, like maybe the weapon damage progression? Something like 1d4, 1d6, 2d4, 2d6, etc?

So it was pointed out to me recently that "Deity" was being spelled "Diety". And since I can't sleep I decided to look at this again. I'm now considering the following -- what do you all think?
