Windows Mobile 5
Just a quick question, I am getting a HTC PPC6800 next month and I am just curious if anyone has tried to run any of the rptools on it.

So, next question anyone know if the full version can be installed? I did some checking and have not found anything.

Again, based on what other Java programmers have told me, this is not possible. The Windows Mobile OS and other handheld devices do not support the full version requirements nor does the hardware.
I typically end up recommending http://www.oqo.com to those that want a hand held device that can use the full version of windows and Java. At least with that you can connect a full size monitor and such. I personally would be frustrated to no end trying to use MT on such a small window with regard to mobile devices.

Well I would go that way, but it is a differance of $950 dollars. But it is sweet!RPMiller wrote:I typically end up recommending http://www.oqo.com to those that want a hand held device that can use the full version of windows and Java.

Hm... that is a fair consideration. Dicetool may be small enough to use that way. Maybe Jay or Giliath can chime in?Zerianthekeeper wrote:Thanks, I wasnt really thinking maptool more dicetool. I dont know why it wouldn't but I guess I didnt really think about it. it can hold a charge for 8 days on idle or 4 hours of talking. I didnt think that dicetool would suck up that much of the system resorces.
