Multiple images in one map

Post by Alarian »

Is it possible to import more than one image into a map? I have several .jpg files that cover an entire area. I would like to be able to take all 4 jpg images and put them into one map.

Thanks.

If absolutely must have them as the background image under Map Properties (or set in the New Map dialog), you'll have to combine them in an imaged editor first.

However, it's far, far easier to put them on the Background layer once the map is created.

Yea, I've always done it in Photoshop in the past, I just had a situation come up last session where I needed a map I hadn't planned on them getting to and it was in several pieces so I was hoping there was a quick easy way to just throw a couple into a map in maptool.

Thanks for the reply.

That's what the background layer is all about.
