RPTools Forum Drinking Game

Post by BigO »

I think it's high time to cut the tention around here and create the RPTools forum drinking game. So, grab your favorite beverage (mine is Apple Juice) and help me make the rules. While reading the forum, take a drink anytime:
  • Tevor says "real life"
Big-O says "Woo Hoo!", or "Snoopy Dance"
Aria brings up Never Winter Nights ("NWN")
    Orchard mentions psycology
I'm fairly new around here, so help me complete the list!

For the record, I think I'll stock up on the chocolate milk and mountain dew. Yum.

Or orange juice.

There's nothing to punch it up like an orange juice & mountain dew mixer....

Duuude! I forgot all about those. I haven't done that in years. Great, now I'm all thirsty.

X does NOT equal x

Or some derivative thereof.

Take a drink!

Stitched, I don't think anyone has enough liquid on hand for that rule :)

Ha! I like that.
I'd probably phrase as "anytime someone mentions case sensitivity".

There is something to be said about the preemptive shot that you must take every time you log in to the RPTools forums. There is BOUND to be something worth drinking for. :D

Well, that brings up a good one: Take a drink every time you try to log on and the forum is down!

Well, this is similar, yet different, so here's this:

Take a drink every time you try to post and the forums crash.

Two drinks if you subsequently lose your post.

Three drinks if it took more than 5 minutes to compose.

xD

When I saw the software these forums use, I knew it was going to be "edit in a text editor, then copy into the form" sort of time. >.> I am -so- not a fan of phpBB.

Amen. I maintain my position that ALL forum software sucks, it's just a matter of picking one that sucks the least at the features you care most about.

I only bring up NWN because it's scripting language and the comparison between tokens, macros, campaign properties to objects, scripts, and variables is too similar to dismiss.

And I only bring up psychology when the analogy seems relevant, but like all things, we all tend to have a hammer and everything looks like a nail.

Or, as someone once put it, "Your asking the person with a giant hammer why you look like a nail."

NWN is a good game, and psychology is a pretty helpful field, but what other people know about either is generally pretty limited, regardless of how relevant they seem to us.

Whatever. Way I see it, people need to be taking some drinks...

Drink!

And just to make it a double, I'll say:

Woo Hoo!

(and just to be clear, I'm not suggesting that any of these catch phrases are bad, or that people shouldn't say them. I'm just trying to have some fun)
