Week 1:

Korghall, Samantha, and Vallo traveled to Ventolin with a group of adventurers. When they got to the town they saw a street magician Heron and a Dwarf Raahm in the Stocks. Among the guards at the center of town was a halfling warlord Boudica. There was a trial taking place. Aria, High Drow Sorceress had been charged with attempting to steal the 6 Orbs of Power from the Circle of Kentar (A group of sages who protect the Orbs) Just when the King Lukela made his verdict to have her killed, he was betrayed. His right hand man, Knight Commander Tristen ran his sword through Lukela killing him and helped Aria to escape. Not only did they escape but the Orbs were removed as well. Corferac (A Dwarf WeaponMaster) who knew Raahm was seen running off with the earth orb. When the orbs were removed, the seal was broken and a rift began to form causing mayhem and destruction within the courtyard. People were killed and dark servants began to come through the portal. Vallo witnessed the death of his master Unthri. The party fought off the first wave of attackers successfully, a bunch of kobold, goblins, and skeletons. But when things appeared to get too rough, a young eledren kentar sage named Merrick showed up and lead the party to a hidden escape trap door out of town. Successfully avoiding the flying black dragons and Hell Hounds, breaking through the locked door, the party escaped into the woods and made it to the Kentar Sanctuary where they were greeted by another Sage who spoke to them about the orbs and the six (a group of heroes composed of the primary races who stood against Zalzir, the King of the Demon Realm, and banished him through use of the orbs)

Week 2:

The party awakens inside the Sanctuary after a long night of rest after the horrible events that happened on the day before in Ventolin. The Sanctuary is alive and bustling with activity. When they meet up with Merrick, he introduces them to Archen, A Minotaur WarPriest who is a member of the Circle. Archen has brought news that a party of Drow had been spotted with the Golden Orb and they were heading west to the elven kingdom of Rith'Holm. He was unsure what their purpose was but it cannot be good. The Circle has charged Archen with getting the orb back... but he could not do it alone. Enter the other adventurers who join up with him to accomplish this task. Merrick also informs them of missing messengers. Apparently the Circle sent out messages to the six major kingdoms and have not received word back from any of them. He asked if they could keep an eye out for him as well on their journey to Rith'Holm. On the way they ended up finding the messenger dead in a cave brutally stabbed to death and his hand was severed off. The party then walked into an ambush set by a group of DarkClaw Trolls. Deciding to spare the last Darkclaw, the creature helped the party open a chest which contained a new Sword for Raahm and a nice robe for Heron as well as the Messengers ring and some gold. The Darkclaw then helped lead the party through the dark forest and grew attached to Sam who had healed him back to health. Unfortunately as they neared the Elf Kingdom, a pack of forest wolves began to pursue the party and in the saving of Korghall the Darkclaw was pounced upon and mauled to death. The party made it to the Elf kingdom and were immediately summoned to Marion, the Queen of Rith'Holm. Apparently she needs the Adventurers help and claims that it may be in connection to what they seek.

The Dm is a bit busy at the moment so I'll be handling this week's recap. Anyway, on with the show.

Week 3:
The party arrived safely at an Elven village deep in the woods. The met with marion, the village elder. She informed them that a group of Drow had been spotted making for a nearby tower. A scouting party had been sent out, but only one had returned alive.

Marion offered the party a reward if they would go to the tower and deal with the drow. But before the party could make a final decision a guard rushed in with dire news. The village was being attacked from two directions. A group of Darkclaw trolls were approaching from the east while a horde of undead were coming from the direction of the tower.

The party agreed to help and the forces were split. While the elves dealt with the trolls, the Party would hold off the undead. The party made their stand on the brigde leading into the village. A fierce battle erupted and there were close calls as first Korghall and then Rhaam were almost thrown from the bridge. But the party held the line long enough for the elves to defeat the trolls and come to help them.

A few elves lost their lives in the process, but the undead were repelled. While the elves recovered from the assault, the party made their way to the tower entrance, finding it oddly unlocked. Upon entering the tower, the party came across the corpses of two fallen elves, one of which appeared to have a golden key.

Unfortunately the combination of the king's murder and the recent victory on the bridge caused Boudica to act a bit wrecklessly. She attempted to snatch the key, but was attacked by the corpses, who had risen as zombies. Fortunately the rest of the party was standing by. Korghall and Vallo fended off the zombies while Sammantha and Raahm were able to mend Boudica's wounds.

The party moved forward a bit more carefully and came to a door. Vallo attempted to kick the door in and discovered, painfully, that it was sealed with magic. After a bit of trial and error, the party worked out that the key was enchanted and could be used to break the seals.

The party them came to a large room with a pair of dragon statues at one end and a series of crates at the other. Again, acting rashly, Boudica moved to peer through the door. She spotted a lone Drow, but triggered a defense mechanism in the process. The two dragon statues moved, creating a barrier that pinned her to the door.

While Boudica stood and fumed, the others examined the crates and discovered a trap door under them. The trap door lead to a dungeon where two elves and an odd being called a Wilden were being held. The party was able to free the Wilden and the younger elf. But it became apparant that the older elf was dieing and would soon rise as undead.

The party discussed the situation and came to the conclussion that there was little they could do and there was only one choice left. As the others left the room, Korghall drew his sword and with a single stroke, ended the elder elf's suffering.

The younger elf, while torn up about her mentor's death, was able to lead the party to a pair of switches that would disable the defense mechanism, but the Drow had placed a nasty curse on them. Heron and Sammantha were able to disrupt the curse and Boudica was freed.

She informed the party of the Drow and a plan of attack was made. While the Wilden escorted the young elf to the village, the party rushed forward and came face to face with a Drow sorcerous, Lila. Sadly the party underestimated the lone Drow, who proved formidable. Using the power of the orb of life, Lila summoned zombies powered by shadows and a fierce battle ensued.

The party was able to defeat the zombies and injure Lila, but this only angered the sorcerous. using the power of the orb, she captured Sammantha and escaped up a hidden staircase. Quickly pursuing them, the party found Sammantha bound against a wall, along with the other elves from the scouting party. Using the orb's power, Lila stole the life force of the elves to restore herself and summoned more zombies.

While Vallo held the zombie's attention, Korghall, Raahm and Heron rushed to Sammantha's aid. Soon she was free and the real battle against Lila began. Boudica became frustrated as her abilites were fairly ineffective. Vallo was almost killed by the zombies, but the other four were able to defeat Lila.

Sadly, before the party could celebrate victory, the wall colapsed. The sorcerous who had escaped execution appeared, riding on the back of the dragon. She murderd Lila and stole the orb, ordering the dragon to attack the tower. Realizing that there was nothing more they could do, the party attempted to escape as rocks began to fall from the cieling.

As Raahm assisted Vallo, Korghall got pinned by a rock and Boudica and Sammantha attempted to help him. But before the party could do anything further, the tower crumbled around them, leaving them trapped among the rubble.

Wow, a little different this week. Anyway to the point.

Last Time:

The party had killed a Necromancer, but the sorcerous escaped with the white orb and the party was trapped under the rubble of the fallen tower. They awoke to find themselves in an Elvish healing center. Marion approached them, revealing what happened. The party had been dug out of the rubble and had been laying unconscious for a week.

Marion rewarded their party for the triumph over the zombies and informed them that man named Merrick had vital news about the green orb. Gus, the Wilden, lead them to meet Merrick, while Heron stayed behind, still recovering from his injuries.

Merrick informed the party that the green orb had been trace to a dwarven city where it was due to be sold at a black market auction. A scout joined the party and a plan was formed to enter the auction and either buy back the orb or take it from whoever won the auction.

The party set out, joined by Gus and the scout, leaving Heron behind to recover. As night fell they came across a campsite. Upon investigating Korghall demonstrated his lack of people skoll by brandishing his sword at the people in the camp, namely a human warrior and an elvish archer. Fortunately Boudica was able to smooth things over and asked the human and elf if the party could camp their the night.

But the negotiations were interrupted as Orc and Hobgoblin raiders attacked. The warrior and archer made a decision, if the party would help them they would agree to a truce. The deal was accepted and battle began. A fierce fight ensued, but the raiders eventually fell.

After clearing the mess, the group settle down for the night. The warrior and archer revealed that they were hunting the traitor Tristen. The party explained that they were going to try to get back the green orb and Tristen might be there. The archer and warrior agreed to come along. After a long day's travel the party reached the city.

After dealing with a rather odd doorbell involving ropes and a riddel, the party was shocked to see Tristen coming towards them along with the dwarven king. The party attempted hold back Boudica, due to her past with Tristen, but it was Vallo who took the initiative. He stormed forward, demandind the city guard to let the party in because they had important business inside.

The guards, put off by his attitude, rebuffed him and Vallo lost his temper. An attempted attack on the minotaur guards was cut short and Vallo was carted off to jail. Boudica again attempted to smooth things over to but to little effect.

The others gathered at a tavern to figure out what to do next. Gus took it upon himself to try to break Vallo out of jail, but only managed in escaping from jail hismelf and setting off the alarm. Meanwhile a pair of Deurgars arrived at the tavern, wanting to escort Boudica to a chamber for a private meeting with Tristen. Trying to understand what had happened, Boudica reluctantly agreed.

Meanwhile the warrior and archer caught up to Tristen and attacked him, but were badly outmatched. Vallo finally managed to break himself out, but had the guards hot on his heels. The two groups collided and a melee ensued, quickly joined by the other party members.

Tristen and the guards badly outmatched the party and it seemed that they were doomed. Boudica, hearing the commotion, demanded to be taken to Tristen to attempt to smooth things over. She managed to halt the battle, but was rewarded by being accused by Tristen of being responsible for the king's death.

The scene quickly devolved into an argument between the two, but was cut short by the king. Boudica pleaded with the king to try to find the green orb, but the king revealed that he had already given that job to Tristen. Boudica, Vallo the warrior and the archer were carted off to jail. The rest of the party could do little to help them and they had other things to worry about, the auction had begun.

The party quickly ran into a problem, during the fracass the scout had lost the pass. An argument ensued about how to get in, while the auction continued. Finally, realizing how desperate the situation was, borrowed a hundred gold coins from Raahm and bought her way in. Taking money from the scout she arrived in time for the final auction item, which was not the green orb.

Sam realized that the orb had already been bought and attempted to look around, but her attention was drawn to the final item for bid, an elvish slave. Horrified, Sam decided she had no choice but to bid on the slave and attempt to save her.

Sam one the auction and as she and the elf girl left the room, they were followed by a goblin bidder, who started hitting on Sam. Sam was about to rebuke h im, but realized that he was there for the whole auction and might know who bought the orb. Swallowing her pride, Sam invited the goblin to the tavern for a drink, in an attempt to ply him for information.

Till next time, heroes...to be continued.

Greetings friends, time for the recap.

Last time the party made their way to the dwarven city of Stonehelm, where things promptly got out of hand. At the end of the day Boudica and vallo were in jail awaiting trial. Boudica was able to pass a message to Sam, telling her to play along. The message was delivered rather bluntly, but Sam got the idea.

Meanwhile Sam and the others talked with the goblin, Benny, over drinks. It was discovered that Benny had won the green orb and had been hired by the sorcerous to do so. Benny agreed to sell the orb to the party, in return for protection.

Meanwhile the trials began. Vallo was found guilty, having one of his arms removed. Boudica came forward. She spun a rather interesting tale, backed up by Raahm, Sam and Korg, but got an interesting shock. In the city of Stonehelm guilt or innocent is decidded in trial by battle. Boudica would have to fight for her freedom.

She was allowed to choose a champion and selected Raahm. Raahm fought well but the city champion was just too much. Fed up, Vallo jumped ino to help. The two fought bravely, but were defeated. With the battle lost, Boudica faced her fate. As the party watched on in horror, Boudica was thrown to the flames and burned alive.

Till next time, herroes...to be continued.
