Cool.

Because I am looking at starting a campaign soon and I haven't yet decided whether I'll do KotS or something else two questions immediately spring to mind ... :)

1. What is meant by "WARNING: This campaign is still not finished!"?

2. When will it be finished?

oh ... and a third question ...

3. Are you planning on doing more?

Answer 1&2

Things to be done:
Map for Keep's second level.
Some more tokens.
Questions and answers for Winterhaven's citizen.

It's going to be finished soon. In about 3-4 days i hope. I'm in Germany right now at my brother and I don't have lots of time.

Answer 3

I plan on making more if there is demand. Else, I'll just do stuff for my campaign and upload it here when it's finished.

Thats not too bad ... :D

Some points to note...

On the Kobold Ambush and On the Road encounters the Kobold tokens are visible to players at the start but I remember that the text of the encounters says that the kobolds are not visible until the players reach a certain point on the map ... at least that is the case for the ambush one ... :) .. or so I recall

And the other thing ... on the burial site map the Zombie Rotter token to the top of the map is not selectable on the token layer. Not sure if that was deliberate or not but you may want to look at that.

Otherwise I think this is a superb offering. I love the artwork and the amount of notes you have put in ...

I thought of sharing this campaign after I went with my PC's through the first two encounters. They were really messed up so i quick fixed them. Forgot to hide the tokens. That can be fixed easily tho' XD
Thanks for mentioning anyway.

Now, for the zombie rotter, it's on the hidden layer on purpose as Kalrael's Apparition has "Animate Minion" which targets a dead minion and raises it as a zombie rotter. So you use the power, go to the hidden layer, CTRL+C, go to token layer, delete selected minion, CTRL+V in it's place. XD

Any other problems/suggestions?

No ... I think I covered everthing I saw ... :D

A friend of mine I used to work with has been begging me to run a new campaign as an online game and I am torn between something completely from my fevered imagination  or running KotS.

I really like what you have so far ... its got everything you'd need to run the campaign.

I would not use png for a background as you probably do not need the alpha channel. So open the file in GIMP and save as a jpg with a 85% quality which should lower the size some. If MapTools still crashes, see if you are running into a memory threshold and up the memory if so.

While you're at it, you might want to slice that image into sections - even as a JPEG, that's still going to be freaking huge. Sectioning it out and sticking the sections in the background should make it pretty easy to download.

Not sure what's happening here :( I'm having the same problem as johnjamesonjr where I keep getting asked for the password when trying to unzip the file.
fulfination has supplied me with the password (many thanks :D ), but now I keep getting an missing/incorrect password error when I try to unzip.
Obviously Jshock and TheDuck both managed to open the files, so what could I be doing wrong? :(

The password is Shadowfell. It is Case-sensitive so shadowfell won't work.

Maybe your just loose with your terminology but the file is a rar file not a zip file. The password is in the opening post. Shadowfell
I downloaded the file and opened it with winrar without incident. I did ask for the password and once supplied it extracted just fine.
