Critical Hit and Fumble Tables (DND 3.5/Pathfinder)
There is a critical hit table for slashing, bludgeoning, and piercing.
There is a critical fumble table for melee and ranged. Am working on a natural and magic one for each catergory also.
Just import the tables into maptools and you are good to go. Enjoy.

Cool!
I don't use critical hit/fumble tables because added randomness is usually detrimental to players and a bonus to monsters (who typically only survive one encounter anyway!). At the same time, they do throw a bit more excitement into a combat...
I'll take a look at these. Thanks.

This is true, but I enjoy the comedy of watching players try and overcome the "fumbles"Azhrei wrote:Cool!

Were you going to add in the Magic & Natural for the two decks?

Attached is a updated zip file with all of the different attacks included. I will work on a macro that will ask to roll critical or fumble and what type of attack. Later I will see about having the items that require a separate roll to automatically roll the item.

Re: Critical Hit and Fumble Tables (DND 3.5/Pathfinder)
If I go with critical fumbles, I usually do it similarly to critical success. A second check is made, if the second check would have hit, then it is only a miss. If it does not, then something will happen that could potential make them waste an action (drop sword or lose additional attacks). But if it is a double 1, then someone will get injured like wielder or nearby ally. Weapon could also break (dealing less damage) or be hurled across room needing at least a full action to retrieve. The actual effect is up to me, but I usually go for inconvenience than detriment. For example, it wouldn't hit an ally who is nearly dead already.

How did it go with the macro? Very interested in that tooneofax wrote:Attached is a updated zip file with all of the different attacks included. Open the Tables frame and then click on the Import button. You will have to unzip the file first.rcsob657 wrote:sry maybe a stupid question but import how?
