hmmm. It should let you as long as you're logged in as a GM. I also have some updates if you're interested before you get too far in editing.

You can download it from http://RPTroll.com/Framework/SWMTb56_SciFi.cmpgn

I completely changed the init system so it no longer uses the init panel and you can disable seeing the cards and dice in the chat window. It also has the beginnings of a Poker interface.

When I try to edit the macros in the Lib:GM token, the macros tab is greyed out and it won't let me touch them. What am I doing wrong?
The macros tab on each token is defunct(no longer usable and the whole tab will be removed from the application at some point.). There are windows for Selection (gets the macros from the selected tokens) and Impersonation. You may have to turn those on in the Windows submenu, and if you have not used a somewhat recent version of Maptool, you may not see them and may need to do a "Restore Layout" from that same menu.

The old "Macros" tab was replaced with 4 individual tabs around 1.3b36 or so: Global (this computer only macros), Campaign(stored inside the campaign file and may or many not be transferred to each client based on a preference), Selection (shows macros for the selected tokens), and Impersonation(shows macros from the impersonated token). This change brought GOBS of new features and it was to much hassle to backport those features to the Token's Macro tab and most felt that said tab was no longer needed anyway, so the Dev's disabled it.
I save all my Campaign Files to DropBox. Not only can I access a campaign file from pretty much any OS that will run Maptool(Win,OSX, linux), but each file is versioned, so if something goes crazy wild, I can always roll back to a previous version of the same file.

Get your Dropbox 2GB via my referral link, and as a bonus, I get an extra 250 MB of space. Even if you don't don't use my link, I still enthusiastically recommend Dropbox..

Well, I'm officially a goob.

I was running some new guys through a campaign last night and one of them pointed out a problem with the way I implemented powers. I checked the peginc.com forums and he's right. I'll try to get it fixed in the next few days. Until then the power power usage is wrong for maintained powers. Sorry.

What was the problem?

It has to do with the rules for Duration. Normally it is expressed as something like 3(1/round)

Well, I assumed the 1/round meant that the caster spend 1 point each round to maintain it. In fact, that is wrong. The power lasts for three rounds WITHOUT paying any additional cost after which you can maintain the power at a cost of 1/round.

Geez, even I knew that, and you introduced me to Savage Worlds.

Well, since I've started to discover the joy that is Savage Worlds, I know am looking at trying it online. Which cmgn file do your recommend downloading? ie. Which file is the most up to date and ready to roll?

(I would assume the one at the top of the page, but I don't want to assume.)

I would use the last one posted. I haven't had time to update the original post in a while. Also note that the current campaign is filled with Slipstream stuff so you'll need to rip that out.

RP, been using your campaign file for my Deadlands campaign. Is there an easy way to change/add the gear stuff you have in already?

Just in case you weren't taking notes:

Add an abort to the "refresh character sheet" macro that's run when you click on the portrait. :)

Do you think this would work for SW Showdown?

It should. If you can point me towards the rules I'll take a look to make sure.

Took me a bit to find them... they took them off their website in preparation of an updated version and have yet to release the new rules...

however.. here we are:
http://web.archive.org/web/200601091634 ... owdown.pdf

that is just the rules... no point cost lists... which are elsewhere...
