Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I have a new draft version out of testing that fixes the skills issue and adds a reload function. Should have something to send out in a few days.
Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I've browsed through (and searched) these forums for information on how to modify the Adventure Deck, but haven't found how to do that yet. I probably missed it, but can you point me in the direction of how to modify the Adventure Deck? I want to try and give MapTool a try with Savage Worlds and your framework looks perfect, just need to figure out the Adventure Deck.
Thanks,
Rich

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I believe you want to modify the cards in the adventure deck right ? If so, all you have to do is open the Table frame in Maptool (menu windows, then check Tables). Look for the adventure cards table, click on the pencil icon, and you'll be ableto replace each image in the table with an image of and adventure card you own.poody wrote:I've browsed through (and searched) these forums for information on how to modify the Adventure Deck, but haven't found how to do that yet. Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I believe that is correct.
In other news the new framework fixes had a bug regarding the reload function. I'll try to get that fixed today.

Keith

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
Did you make the "new framework fixes" available somewhere for download ? I'd love to test them, but I still see an old date on the OP download link.RPTroll wrote:I believe that is correct.

I haven't yet. If you're volunteering I'll post a link here for testing purposes then update the OP when I get the all clear.
Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
Yep I'd be glad to help.
Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
Thanks! That helped. I assume that in Value section is where I'd write the description of what the card does? Are there any limitations on what goes into the Value field and is there an easy way to import a table? I see an import button, but don't know what format the file needs to be in, etc.booga wrote:...

One other related question (sort of)... Is there a way to do Fate Chips instead of regular bennies? For example, if I were running the Deadlands Reloaded campaign? In OpenRPG we just made Fate Chips a "deck of cards", so I don't know how difficult it would be to do the same in MapTool?
Thanks for all your help.
Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I do not believe the Value field is used by RPTroll's Framework, only the image from the Adventure Card is used on the character sheet, then in the chat when the card is used. Wolph42 wrote an excel spreadsheet to import data into tables quickly, and I believe it also supports images.poody wrote:Thanks! That helped. As for the bennies/fate chips, I'm not quite sure how you'd handle it with this framework.
Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
Thanks for the link, I appreciate it. I'll check it out. Looks like I'll have to dig in and see if I can figure out how to hack frameworks to see if I can add that functionality.booga wrote:

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I'd love to help testing your changes. If you also have a list of known issues that should be tested, I'll go through those as well.RPTroll wrote:I haven't yet. If you're volunteering I'll post a link here for testing purposes then update the OP when I get the all clear.
Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
Hi - I'm thinking about running this framework for a Realms of Cthulhu/Achtung! Cthulhu campaign. What kind of modifications will I need to make in order to make the framework totally compatible with the system?
Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I modified the framework to work with RoC and even made an Atchung Cthulhu one. if your interested send me a PM and i'll get you a link.
Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I've been working on an update that has the following new stuff
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/603 ... sb86.cmpgn
It runs on build 86 and later. Once I get a few nods I'll package it up for everyone.
You can read more about the update here

- Reloading - The framework handles reloads better and now gives the player the ability to reload weapons even when they aren't empty
More Modifiers - The framework broke somewhere along the way and stopped adding modifiers to the rolls. That's fixed and now includes modifiers for range. It also more clearly lets you know what modifiers have been added
User Defined Lists - You can now define your own lists that will appear on the character sheet. (see below)

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I've posted the campaign file to Drop Box. You can find it at
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/603 ... LLWARE.zip
To incorporate this into an existing campaign, import the campaign preferences file SavageWorlds.mtprops
Import the GM macros onto the Lib:GM token: GMMacros.mtmacset
Import the Gear macros onto the Lib:Gear token GearMacros.mtmacset
It has the changes discussed above with the addition of auras for blast templates and a flashlight light source.
