Downloading 1.4.1.7 gets me 1.4.1.8...???

My friend has downloaded 1.4.1.7 64 bit from the download page...but when he runs the launcher, its launching 1.4.1.8...which he didn't download!

I've watched him download the file, it SAYS the file is 1.4.1.7...but when it opens, it says, "Maptool Launcher 1.4.1.8". And then the problem is, he can't connect to the 1.4.1.7 server that I'm running.

Any ideas?

Sorry, this is the ".exe" file....should have made that clear

Try deleting the "C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\JWrapper-MapTool" folder and try again.

If he ever installed 1.4.1.8 you can't roll back (limitation of JWrapper) so he will have to uninstall (via windows) or delete per AM's comment and reinstall 1.4.1.7.

Yep, that did the trick...my friend had no clue he had installed 1.4.1.8 sometime ago, but getting rid of that directory fixed the problem.
