Mine is easy and amazingly open on most sites. Picked it years ago when I started playing COD and COD/UO.

Big, for the fact the I am the Big guy in my various groups of friends. Over the years there has always been a dup of my first name in the group. Mac is the first 3 letter of my last name plus there is the stupid sandwich jokes  that go with it.

Simply Aidy (my nick for Adrian) and an exclamation, first uttered by a workmate. As in "Aidy, baby, long time no see"!

Pretty dull...

My name on most forums is Azhrei, but there are variations of it on some sites (such as azhreifje on Paizo's and ENworld's forums). A variation of it is on my license plate as well. :)

The name means Dragon Prince in a fantasy language from the Sunrunner's Fire series by Melanie Rawn and I have a penchant for collecting dragon-related art (I've got the cover of the third book on a black T-shirt -- amazing artwork by Michael Whelan).

Other words from that language are used for "throw-away" email addresses, system names on my home office LAN, placeholders in my computer training courses, and so on. Examples include Azhdeen (Dragon Lord), Skybowl (a city name), Rohan and Sioned (a king and queen in the first book), and a few other nouns or proper names (Cunaxa, faradhi, di'armidhi, and Kazander are my favorites, although the third one doesn't work well for computer names. :))

I also had the nickname "Crash Jr." in my early career years (the night job I had while going to college was computer-related), but that's not a particularly amusing story...

I've been a professional magician for the past 11 years, and when I first started going to online forums, I mostly frequented magic-related sites. I was known in my area for doing both stage and close-up levitations, and a few of my regular clients started calling me "The Levitator", kind of like "The Terminator". I started using thelevitator for everything, and it just kinda stuck.

But it really confuses people on certain types of boards because it is so out of context, even when I explain what it means. LOL

Yep. I considered Lazerbeak and Ravage briefly but decided they didn't fit his idiom.

When I first moved to England I was driving about the countryside and the guy I was working with showed me some pillboxes from WWII.

They were cool, but years later when I started online gaming (Return to Castle Wolfenstein) I adopted the 'Pillbox' name, and it has stuck with me ever since.

Boring... First and middle initial, last name. Changed it from Durnin, which I used for years, when I decided that I needed to be more "public" with who I was because I had become directly involved with a couple gaming companies. Durnin was the name of my first D&D character when I started playing in 1979. I just made the name up when I was being stupid.

GM: What's your character's name?
ME: Dur... I don't know.
GM: Dur? You're going to name him Dur?
ME: Does it really matter? Fine... Dur... nin. Yeah, Durnin will be his name.
You're just jealous 'cause the voices only talk to me.
