Object on top of tokens?

Post by Dobly »

Hi

I am doing a map with a fight pit. The top of the fight pit is a wooden X pattern that I have added to my map as an object.

I want players and other NPC tokens to be in the pit, to still be able to move, but have the wooden structure on top.

Is this possible? I am using Maptool 1.5.2

Thanks

There actually is a way, but I recommend having the X be slightly transparent so it doesn't hide tokens beneath it.

What you do is have your X on the object layer, open your token and go to VBL tab. There is a checkbox that says Visible over FoW. This will make the token always visible and on top, visually, but it still remains untouchable while on the object layer by the players.
