This may be too much of an ask but asking never hurts :)
@maclud or @gunnarskeep

Would either of you be willing to create a set of narrative dice:
https://images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.c ... h-res).pdf

I was attempting to use existing sets and Gimp to transform the images on to the die (overwriting the numbers) but it looks like crap LOL
I think they'll need the symbols in a font to make this easier:

This should help:

Let me know what you think. If these are satisfactory, I will make the rest. I had actually made these dice before, but with all the valuable input and suggestions that vastly improved my technique, I think these are much better.

And thank you Full Bleed for the fonts! I didn't use them (the images I had worked just fine), but these are handy nonetheless!

Those dice sets are gorgeous. I have a simple little request, that I hope someone would consider.
What I really would like, is a blank set, i.e. without number faces, but just the geometric form.
Preferable "upright", if you know what I mean.

This way, I can just show the numbers rolled and use the dice as backgrounds.

I could put something together. Did you have a color in mind? Or just a plain white base that you could apply a cover overlay? And if you want them "upright" as you say, I believe this is the orientation provided by maclud.

@maclud: Since you provide your dice pre-configured in this orientation already, this may be a request better suited to you. If you're not able to support, I can make a set. I just neet to reorient my dice. Should not be a big deal.

(I've got the sprite sheets and main roller done, need to do some table and code tweaks . . .)

Something like your charcoal would be awesome. By "upright" I mean something like this:
Image
Just without any of the numbers :)

I realize that the d4 would just be a triangle and the d6 a square, but that is ok :)

I was hopeful it had not.

@gunnarskeep /bow and thanks :)

I think the blank charcoal look great (/hopeful for more colors :) )

And of course your standard work is equally fantastic (re: trans purple) /thanks

@gunnarskeep I don't know if you still follow this but I'm looking to re-work some of the die sets and I was hoping I could get my hands on the narrative die without the "light" or "shadows".

Hi Jmr3366,

I saw your post, and unfortunately, I no longer have access to KeyShot (the software I used to generate the dice images). I have my CAD models still, but no real good method for generating the beautiful renders that KeyShot produced. My whole process for creating these images is disrupted without that tool.

I have been playing around with Blender to see what I can do there, but there is a huge learning curve there (at least for me), and I just haven't been able to get anything good out of it yet.

I am happy to share .stp exports of my CAD files if you think you can work with those. Just let me know.
