[Token Peices] Frames: Different Style

Threads for tilesets and background graphics made by MapTool users and provided for other users to make use of. (This is just like the section for frameworks that users have made and offered to others, but specific to libraries of map-making tiles, objects, and backgrounds).

[Token Peices] Frames: Different Style

Post by dorpond »

I made some more frames for you all but some are a different style than my others.

I hope you enjoy them!

I'm noticing that the non-alpha outside edge really isn't that noticable, that's nice.

Not sure if this one will pull off or not. I was thinking about adding bells and whistles off the edge of a frame.

In this example, I attached little scythes.. *shrugs*

*Dorpond throws his little druid looking token like a chinese star at Steel and does 503 points damage*

*Dorpond turns into a bunny rabbit and hops away after eating a bunch of clover next to Steels lifeless body*

Unfortunately the Chinese star was Loo Ming Pao, a 93 year old method actor who disintegrated on impact with the metal rodent, causing him only to look up and say "What was that noise?"

Nice stuff! :) Could you do a Western frame?

I may be running an online Western game soon...

Welp, I found time to try this but I think I missed the mark. To me it looks more like a piece of candy than a rope.

My goal was to make a rope looking frame but my photoshop magic was a bit amiss.

I will keep trying if you think the idea works for you.

 I appreciate the effort... my western characters would have to go on a diet ;)

Maybe turn the white stripes to dark brown and add some knots...

How about this:

I didn't get a chance to test it in Token Tool so let me know if there are anti-aliasing issues.

Let me know if it was what you were looking for too.

[Edit]

I modified that one a bit:

These are the results afterwards:
